Why Consolidated Investment Services?
A Consolidated Investment Service allows people to
manage their entire investment portfolio through one central place.
Assets can include Managed Funds (both wholesale and retail), listed
security, direct property, and other assets including antiques, works of art,
etc.
A broad based service will offer clients a choice of regulatory structures
such as personal superannuation, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, employer
sponsored superannuation, retirement income streams such as allocated pensions,
and "ordinary" or non-superannuation investment vehicles.
The service provider will transact and record details of
assets as instructed by the client or their financial planner, produce regular
reports which allow the client to review their portfolio and investment
performance, and provide taxation information.
The services may be offered through master trust
structures, trust deeds, deed poll arrangements, or other custodial type
vehicles.
In short, Consolidated Investment Services provide
clients and financial planners with the ability to spread their investment
across multiple taxation structures and assets, while offering a central contact
point for the continued administration and reporting.
